An exciting therapeutic program for children aged 3 through 8 with speech, language and/or social interaction difficulties. Each child receives an individualized therapy program; one individual and one classroom-based therapy session per day; plus a communication enriched program of activities. The program is offered on Saturdays in both the morning and afternoon. Please contact us for upcoming dates.

For the 3-5 year olds, different creative themes are used to develop concepts, articulation, oral description, listening and social interaction skills. Show and tell, circle time, crafts, songs and cooperative games provide fun and educational vehicles for focused speech and language intervention.

For the 6-12 year olds, development of oral and written language skills is emphasized: linguistic awareness, reading comprehension, and writing skills. Creative activities and games are used to make learning fun. No matter what the age, your child is sure to enjoy their time at "Talk It Up".

Unique Program Features

• Your child receives a complimentary communication assessment and report.

• Your child gets one half hour of one-on-one speech/language therapy every Saturday.

• Speech and language techniques are integrated into every part of your child's program.

• Small group sizes and very low child to adult ratios (no more than 3 children for each adult).

• Your child's social skills are specifically addressed.

• Your child's literacy skills are developed.

• You receive daily written therapy reports, and a final written report.

Program Leaders

Certified Teachers and Early Childhood Educators - experienced professionals who care about children and know how to make learning fun. The program is supervised by certified Speech-Language Pathologists.

OUR NEXT SESSION STARTS Saturday, February 20, 2010 and runs for 6 Saturdays until March 27, 2010! 

Sessions run in 6 week blocks throughout the year. We encourage you to contact us for more information or to arrange a free consultation. Official receipts are provided for insurance purposes. The cost of the program may also be used as a tax credit for income tax purposes.
