Kerry
Erle
Speech
Language Pathologist, President
As
founder and President, Kerry is the engine behind the company.
She runs a busy operation while managing teaching duties and a
full-time clinical caseload. How does she maintain such high energy?
Kerry says, "If you find a job you love, you'll never have to
work a day in your life!" Her work is her passion, and she is
passionate about improving the lives of clients.
Kerry is well respected in both provincial and national circles.
She is a long-time member of council and volunteer with the Ontario
Association of Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (OSLA).
She is also recent recipient of the Eve Kassirer Award for Outstanding
Professional Achievement from the Canadian Association of Speech-Language
Pathologists and Audiologists.
Kerry obtained a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Clinical
Science in speech-language pathology from the University of Western
Ontario, where she currently serves as Adjunct Professor. She
has post-graduate certification in the management of cognitive-communication
disorders following acquired brain injury. With two decades of
experience, she has a diverse clinical background and a strength
in working with people of any age.
Kerry is registered with OSLA and the College of Audiologists
and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO). She is certified
in Canada and the U.S. She has extensive expertise in acquired
brain injury rehabilitation, serving on two local Designated Assessment
Centre teams. She also has strong interests in language-based
learning disabilities, stuttering and social-pragmatic disorders.

Vé
graduated, at the top of her class, with a Masters of Clinical
Science degree in Speech-Language Pathology from the
University
of
Western Ontario
. She is registered, in
good standing, with the
College
of
Audiologists
and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and is
nationally certified with the Canadian Association of
Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA). She is
fluently bilingual, allowing LSLC to expand its services to include
francophone assessment, treatment and consultation services.
Vé
offers a proven track record with clients of all ages, as well as a
fresh perspective on clinical assessment and intervention.
Her special interests include fluency intervention, acquired
brain injury rehabilitation and pediatric services.
Vé
will see clients at LSLC’s
London
office on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays. She will provide School
Health Support services to CCAC agencies in the Huron Perth region
on Wednesdays and Thursdays. We
are delighted to welcome this talented clinician to our growing
team!

Michelle
Lerikos
Speech
Language Pathologist
Michelle
Lerikos graduated from
Dalhousie
University
, in
Halifax
Nova Scotia
, with a Master of Science degree in Speech-Language
Pathology.
She
is registered with the
College
of
Audiologists
and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) and is
nationally certified with the Canadian Association of
Speech-Language Pathologists and Audiologists (CASLPA).
Michelle
has worked with clients of all ages, with an extensive background
in the delivery of innovative treatment programs to preschool
children and their families.
She
has also received training in the Lidcombe Program of Early
Stuttering Intervention.
Michelle
will help LSLC expand our services in the Huron Perth region (i.e.
School Health Support services to CCAC agencies) with out of town
services between Tuesday and Friday each week, and in-office
appointments on Monday. We look forward to working with this
exceptional clinician!

Sue
Ciphery
Director of Educational Services, Educational Consultant
Sue
is a ten-year veteran at London Speech and Language Centre. She
has made significant contributions in areas of policy development,
staff training and outreach services, earning her the right to
wear several important hats at the clinic!
Sue is senior teacher with Talk it Up! and Read it Up! Saturday
programs and a respected mentor to staff and volunteers. She is
also the new teacher for our Jump Start Learning program.
As Educational Consultant Sue provides educational assessment and
advocacy services. Our first Director of Educational Services,
Sue's responsibilities have expanded even further to include coordination
of all educational support services for children, youth and adults
(including the new Fast ForWord program).
Sue is a smart, reassuring presence in the office. She is an unflappable
problem-solver who always gets the job done right. And don't let
her humble exterior fool you. She knows kids and she knows special
education! Sue has an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology
and Child Studies from Brock University, and a Bachelor of Education
Degree, with additional Special Education qualifications, from
the University of Windsor.

Zantingh
Communicative
Disorders Assistant
Janine
obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communication Disorders
from
Calvin
University
College
in
Grand Rapids
,
MI
. She is well
rounded clinically and is up to date on the latest research in
the field. She
joined the LSLC team last fall as Marketing ssistant and now
provides Communicative Disorders Assistant services to adults
and children at the clinic as well. Janine is the friendly voice
that you will hear when we call for your input on how to improve
our clinical services. She is dedicated to ensuring continual
improvements in our services for you. Janine is a bright person
who brings enthusiasm and creativity to her clinical work each
and every day. It is a pleasure to have her on staff!

Chris
Knight
Office Manager
As our
Marketing Manager, Chris supervises the business development,
strategic planning, and marketing activities at our rapidly
expanding clinic. This includes enhancing partnerships with
colleagues in healthcare, education and rehabilitation sectors. As
our Accounts Manager, he oversees all aspects of financial and
business management.
Chris
graduated from the University of Western Ontario in 1999 with his
BA in Visual Arts. He has used this creative background along with
years of experience in advertising and design in the computer
industry to bring a new focus to the LSLC team.
