Sponsorship Opportunities

Did you know that one in ten children have communication disorders that can lead to serious learning, social and emotional difficulties? Early intervention is the key to helping them succeed in life. It is a sad reality that hospitals and schools have carved speech-language pathology services to the bare bone. Families often endure long waiting lists and infrequent treatment services. It is not surprising, that many are desperate to find help for their children. London Speech & Language Centre is searching for companies who want to make a difference in the lives of children by becoming sponsors.

We need your help to expand our ability to serve all children regardless of their financial situation. Your financial contributions allow us to provide assessments, "Talk it Up" Saturday Programs, "Talk About Fun" Speech Camps, and "Kid's Club" Literacy Groups. The Ontario District Barbershop Singers have contributed generously over the past eight years, donating over $100,000 and helping more than 200 children. The London Investment in Education Council awarded the 1997 'Partnership in Literacy' Award to the Barbershoppers for their collaboration with our Centre in helping communicatively impaired children.
