New Fast ForWord Programs - Training the Brain to Learn Faster!

London Speech and Language Centre is pleased to offer the acclaimed Fast ForWord programs! Intensive, computer- based training offers individuals of all ages rapid improvements in listening, language and reading skills.

Treatment gains of 1 to 2 years are possible in just eight to ten weeks. Produced by Scientific Learning Inc., Fast ForWord is based on 25 years of brain research. It has been the subject of numerous national news articles including features in Time and Newsweek magazines.

In addition to impressive language and reading gains, parents and teachers report improvements in classroom participation, self-esteem and enthusiasm for learning. To date, more than 100,000 individuals in the Canada and the United States have trained on this program.

Fast ForWord Language, Fast ForWord Language to Reading, Fast ForWord Reading and Fast ForWord Middle & High-School programs are used for students in Kindergarten through Grade 12 and beyond. An initial assessment with our Educational Consultant will help determine the program that best suits your loved one's needs.

Students can work with Fast ForWord programs at London Speech and Language Centre or at home for 90 to 100 minutes a day, five days a week for eight to ten weeks. Facilitator training is provided for home programming purposes.

Daily training results are transmitted via Internet to Scientific Learning, which provides a summary report to London Speech and Language Centre staff. This is used to guide student progress.
